Service Provider IaaS (Cloud) Services yes Some of the Service Providers (SPs) who offer Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS aka cloud) resources offer a searchable catalog of available VM images. The catalog may include images prepared by the SP, but it may also include images prepared by other users of the system. The catalog may be searched by keyword, image title, or the image creator, and search results include descriptions provided by the images' creators. Users with allocations on the resource may launch new VMs using images from the catalog.
