VIS-06: Visualize research data using a web application

Executive Summary:
A researcher, educator, or student needs to use a web application that visualizes research data. The researcher connects to the web application using a web browser. (Note: Such web applications are also referred to as “science gateways” or “visualization gateways.”)
User Importance Summary:
The results of large-scale research simulations and data analysis are often sizable and complex enough that they must be seen on visual displays to be understood. When these displays can be viewed using ordinary web browsers, they are available to a much broader audience and their value is multiplied.
